The restaurant is set on one side of the pub and is separated from the public bar.

You can relax and peruse the extensive menu on offer whilst ordering a drink.

The food is varied with an ever changing specials board which follows the seasons as well as the old faithfuls which you just cant do without.

The Lamb is particularly famous for its Sunday lunches with a choice of Beef, Lamb, Chicken and Pork always on offer. Sundays are always extremely busy and booking is highly advisable.

Other specialities are homemade pies such as Steak & Ale, Chicken Ham & Leek, Luxury Fish Pie, Game, Rabbit.

Also game such as pheasant or partridge is often on the menu in the shoot season.

Also fresh fish and shellfish which is sourced directly from Billingsgate Market and Crayfish from the local rivers are often on the menu.

If there is anything you dont see then all you have to do is ask and give some notice and the chef will try to accomodate.

The chef's take great pride in producing the highest quality food and wherever possible use local & organic produce - we even grown our own !!

There is also a varied selection of vegetarian dishes available and the staff are only to happy to help if you any special requirements.

Steve & Rachel also keep small but excellent range of wines to accompany your meal as well as a range of malt whiskies, brandy’s & liquors.
